If your application has been accepted and you are ready to pay, you are on the right page. Payment is in two stages.
Payment of Volunteer South America's support fee is paid now. Payment to the local organisation is made when you arrive
at their in-country offices.
Why do we arrange it like this? Two reasons. Cost effectiveness and trust. To take delivery of the local organisations
fee means that we incur bank transfer charges to get their fee to them. In addition, we get charged 3.0% on every
electronic or credit card payment we receive. Getting the local organisations fee to them directly makes the whole process
more cost effective.
By paying the local organisation directly, you know that we are not keeping money that rightfully belongs to them.
We feel that this transparent arrangement helps to build trust between us.

asked to enter the details required to complete the transaction.
Credit Cards: Phone (410) 330 1255 or click the Paypal button above. Paypal will process your card through
a secure link.
What happens next? - you will recieve your information pack, guide book, map and arrival details etc.
Depending on where you live, this should be within 5-10 days of receipt of payment.
